Achieve a red carpet-worthy glow with Dr. Hu’s professional grade VI peel

As we age, the skin begins to show signs of wear and tear, including wrinkles, fine lines, creases and folds. In addition, it becomes more susceptible to the elements, such as sun damage and environmental toxins. The VI peel is a type of chemical peel that helps to reverse these problems, revealing a beautiful new layer of younger-looking skin.

The VI peel is comprised of 4 uniquely formulated compounds designed to treat all skin types, tones and textures. These include TCA (trichloroacetic acid), Retin-A, salicylic acid and Vitamin C. These compounds are able to effect change at the cellular level with minimal invasiveness or discomfort for the client.

There are three version of the VI peel available:

Details of the Procedure

First, your skin will be carefully cleansed, removing any impurities. Next, the specially formulated solution will be spread over your skin evenly.

The solution gently exfoliates the damages skin cells while stimulating collagen regrowth. It is then washed off, and the client can leave the office immediately, returning to their regular activities.

What is the Recovery Process for the VI Peel?

For the first few days after your treatment, the skin may have a slightly reddish tone. This is no cause for worry, and will simply appear like you have had exposure to the sun. Peeling will continue for about a week, after which your skin will be glowing and fresh.

You will be provided with moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated as it recovers. Dr. Hu suggests abstaining from vigorous exercise for the first week. You can repeat the VI peel as often as every 3-4 months.
